The variance is easy. The commentary is the work — and it is written from a summary, by someone who then goes back to the transactions to find out what actually happened.
What the agent does
Anvil starts at the transactions. It reads the movements behind each variance over threshold, groups them by cause, and drafts commentary that names the cause rather than restating the number. The pack is assembled per entity and consolidated.
